to the conducting of ANY type of background investigation. This release
must be a document separate from the application itself. For instance,
a Credit Report must have a separate authorization page, a Criminal
Inquiry must have a separate authorization page, as well as a Motor
Vehicle record. Forms are available on this website.
Our belief
is that the Federal Trade Commission feel applicants are less likely to
read the content of a release that is buried within a application form.
